Membership Benefits
With a YMCA membership, you and your family will receive use of all
Y facilities, an introductory orientation to the Fitness Center and
receive member rates on all Y programs. Becoming a member of
the YMCA allows you to enjoy health and fitness benefits as well as
social and recreational activities. Most importantly, it gives you the
opportunity to meet new friends in a Christian environment under the
supervision of a caring staff. Children must be 14 years or older to use
the fitness center. We also recommend the introductory orientation to the
fitness center for those of the age of 14. By purchasing a membership,
YMCA members agree to adhere to the policies of the Vermilion Family
YMCA’s Code of Conduct and any applicable procedures.
Membership Types
Family: Three or more family members: a) who reside in the same
household; b) who are all claimed on the same tax return, and c) who are
legally financially responsible for each other’s debts. A college student who
resides at home and who is under the age of 23 may be included on a family
membership. Included are those who reside outside the YMCA’s service area
during the school year. The YMCA reserves the right to verify whether the
families are claimed on the same tax return and have a mutual address.
Couple: Two family members: a) who reside in the same household; b) who
are claimed on the same tax return, and c) who are legally financially
responsible for each other’s debt. The YMCA reserves the right to verify
whether families are claimed on the same tax return and have a mutual
address.
Adult: Any person 19 or older.
Senior: Any person 62 years or older.
Youth: Any person between and including the ages of 0-18.
College: Any person attending a College or University. Must present ID.

Guest Pass: Any non-member wishing to use the fitness center. Cost is $5.00 per visit.

Who qualifies?
- Family member of deployed Army National Guard or Reservists from any military branch.
- Relocated spouse and family members of deployed Active Duty personnel.
- Active Duty Independent duty personnel.
- Visit Militaryonesource.com or you may call 1-800-342-9647 to see if you are eligible.
Payment
Payment of member fees may be made in one of three ways:
- Pay in full by: Cash, Visa/Master Card, or Check.
- Monthly draft with Credit Card (we accept MasterCard or Visa). Payment is taken out on 15th of every month.
- Monthly draft with Checking Account (Voided Check). Payment is sent on 12th of month…but is actually drafted on the 15th.
- Members are required to sign a written agreement that outlines their payment responsibility.
* Memberships are contracted at a year length, with it automatically renewing at the end.
* If paying by draft, you will be auto renewed unless it is In WRITING before the 10th of the month that you wish to cancel.
* If you are Paid In Full, you must come in and PIF again, or sign up for monthly draft payments.
Financial Aid
No one is turned away because of inability to pay. Scholarships and financial assistance are available. Please stop in the main office for information.

Summer memberships run from May 1st to September 1st. You may extend your membership to a full year after September 1st by making the same amount payment or by switching to the draft payment amount.
