SECOND CHANCE TO TRY THE YMCA’S NEW GOLF PROGRAM
If you missed it last time a new clinic will begin Monday, June 4th or Thursday, June 7th. Clinic times are 5:30-6:30 and 6:30-7:30 at the Vermilion Country Club. This is a 4 week clinic. Open to ages 7-16 year old boys and girls. Clinic teaches the basics of golf skills and rules. Call the Y to register (440) 967-4208.
FOXCREEK TENNIS OPEN HOUSE FOR VERMILION YMCA MEMBERS
...on May 12 from 1:00-4:00 pm. FREE tennis clinics for adults and children of all ages, cardio tennis drills, try out demo racquets and the ball machine. There will be contests, prizes and lots of fun! Best of all, it’s FREE! A great family event!
NEED SOME FUN FOR THE KIDS?
Time to start making plans to attend our “WEWANAGO SUMMER CAMP”. Register before May 18, 2012 and the $25.00 registration fee will be waived! Camp is open to children ages 6 to 13. Open registration is now taking place for the 2012 fall Preschool Y-Pals program. If you have a child that is age 4 or 5 yrs then they are eligible to attend this program. GET READY FOR THE 2012 JAY HERSHEY 5K RUN!
The Festival of the Fish Jay Hershey 5K Run/Walk will be held on June 16, 2012 at the Vermilion Family YMCA Community Center. Registration begins at 8:00am and race time is 9:00am. Event is open to ages 14 and Up.
There will be post race refreshments, door prizes and awards! Pre-registration for event is $15.00 (cut off date is June 14); Race Day registration: $20.00. Registration opens in May.

Great News! Now you can register online for programs at the YMCA. All you need is an email account! Save time and gas. With our new online registration, you no longer have to come into the Y to register your child for programs. It all can be done, faster and easier, online. Simply fill out the registration form and make payments with a Master Card or Visa. Click the Register Online tab on the left to get started.

The Vermilion Family YMCA is a Silver Sneakers program Site! Why not join the nation’s leading fitness program for older adults for FREE! The Silver Sneakers program offers you a basic free membership to the Y. A great way to get healthy, make friends, and keep active. To find out more about this program, contact your insurance company to see if you qualify.
YMCA SCHOLARSHIPS
Did you know that the YMCA offer scholarships? The Vermilion Family YMCA will not turn anyone away due to their inability to pay for a program. Families may apply for financial assistance through the Y’s Strong Kids Scholarship Fund by requesting an application. The scholarship fund can be used for programs, childcare and memberships. NEW PAYMENT OPTION
NEW OPTION FOR AEROBIC CLASSES The Y is offering a “NEW PAYMENT OPTION” for unlimited Aerobic classes (includes Ultimate Workout, Power Step & Sculpt, Zumba, Interval Training, Cardio Combo, PACE and Adult Fitness/Silver Sneakers) for the entire year if you must be a member to take advantage of this option. Just sign up to have a monthly draft of $26.00 a month taken from your checking, credit card or debit card on the 10th of each month. This is the ONLY OPTION FOR UNLIMITED class participation!!
